StuffIt Expander
For some reason StuffIt Expander (the program that uncompresses .sit files) stopped working on my computer at work. So, since it is a ‘free’ download, I went off to the Apple Downloads site which linked to StuffIt BUT… they are requiring me to insert an email address, which I don’t like to do. I don’t like to do this because I know all they want that email for is to send me things that I don’t want to get. All I want is for their program to function as intended, and really, as Apple intended it to work.*
i did give them my email, but I don’t think you have to. If you want to download the disk image to install StuffIt Expander, just head on over to this webpage.
*In StuffIt’s defense, it may have something to do with the disk image I am using that was orginally on an iMac G3 and is now on a PowerMac G4.
