Joint efforts between Jill and I, there are now four new books available from Visibooks that explain how to use software from the OpenOffice.org suite. The books include Base, Calc, Impress, and Writer. You can find them all on this complete list of Visibooks.
The programs themselves mirror Microsoft's Office suite but are free to download and use. Base is the database program. Calc is the spreadsheet. Impress is for presentations. Writer is for word processing.
As before, it was quite an experience writing the books -- especially four at a time! Hope they help folks looking to learn more about the OpenOffice.org software.
