Just wanted to wish (Grand)Bud a happy birthday! As some of you know, its been quite a week for Jill's father - he had his appendix taken out on Monday. The good news is, as a present, his doctor has agreed to release him today. You're going home Bud!

You don't have to thank me for missing work... I do it because I care. :) I'm just hoping that Bud can make it through his recovery without getting antsy and pushing himself too much. An appendectomy is not a trivial thing to go through!
Bud, I'm sorry you had to have such a nasty birthday week, but hope your healing will be speedy - and you follow Kevin's advice. Just seeing Hale has to make your birthday a happy one!!
Thanks for all the well-wishes and support throughout this past week from everyone. It has been a long time since I've experienced any kind of sickness and already, I am feeling very well! It was not a big deal and the birthday was as happy as all the preceding ones......and that covers quite few of them!!
Sure am glad to have him home! Jill & Hale have been such a help to me & have made me smile lots of times in the last couple of days! In fact- one of the first things GrandBud said when he 'woke up' was "where's my boy"?
