What a difference a day makes...

You all said it would happen, and you were right - Hale is already 4 1/2 months old and growing so quickly! He is continuously changing and learning new things. According to the "Four-month Milestone Guide" that our beloved pediatrician gave us at his most recent check-up, he is right on schedule (even ahead of the game in some categories).

Just yesterday afternoon Hale began sitting up with only the help of his boppy pillow (a semi-circular, over-stuffed pillow used either for breastfeeding or helping babies sit up)! It won't be long until we can pack the boppy away with all the other stuff he has "outgrown."

Hale is now a formula man. He made the transition easily and is guzzling about five 6-ounce bottles a day in addition to his fruits, veggies and cereal. And on top of all that, he is such a happy little guy! We couldn't ask for a better (or more handsome) baby. We love you, Hale!!

Is this a face only a father could love?

As Jill said, things have been going great with Hale, and I have a print of this picture (left) on my desk at work to give me comfort while away.

One other thing that Jill didn't mention is that Hale is now drinking his milk straight from the fridge (with no tummy aches). Apparently he likes his drinks ice-cold, just like his daddy. So that has made it an even easier transition.

Actually... no Kevin, that's a face that Nana & GrandBud love also!! I have the same picture sitting on my sewing machine in Hale's room at our house!(plus a few others!)

What a big boy he is getting to be - eating semi-real food & drinking cold milk, almost sitting by himself! Wonder if he'll scoot the ice chips under the fridge like his daddy does?

He better not scoot the icechips under the fridge, or Mama will have him down in the basement knocking down the cobwebs!!!

P.S. Hale sat up by himself today, no boppy pillow needed! Good boy!
