Tonight's the night - Hale will be staying in his big boy room for the first time (notice I didn't say that he will be SLEEPING in his big boy room)! The room is decked out in a nautical theme, and with so many new things to look at and freedom from the confines of a crib, we are sure we're in for quite an experience! Thank goodness for baby gates!

FYI - Hale's first night in his big boy room was a COMPLETE SUCCESS!! He cried for 20 minutes or so when we first left him alone, but then he was out for the count (without one single peep) until 7:30 this morning! What a big boy! Not only that, but when "Nanny " (his new name for my mom) put him down for a nap this morning, he went right to sleep for two hours! I'm tellin' ya, this kid is unbelievable! He makes every transition so easy on us! We're probably in for a rude awakening when Baby #2 arrives on the scene!
