Thank you to those that have placed yourselves into harm's way for the protection of our country and its way of life.

Ending text from: Woodrow Wilson Declares War on Germany, April 6, 1917

To such a task we can dedicate our lives and our fortunes, everything that we are and everything that we have, with the pride of those who know that the day has come when America is privileged to spend her blood and her might for the principles that gave her birth and happiness and the peace which she has treasured.

God helping her, she can do no other.

It is thoughtful and admirable of you to take the time to post President Wilson's words on your website regarding those who are serving and those who have served these Untited States and, essentially, all the free people of the world. Many thousands of American men and women are now in far-off lands, doing what they can and are trained to do to rid the globe of terrorists and evil-doers. They would rather have been home this past weekend watching the Indy 500, picnicing with their families and friends or participating in a favorite leisure time activity. But instead, they were where duty and commitment placed them. If anyone forgot to remember them with a few words of prayer, then be sure to take care of that tonight. They need our prayers, and we need them....wherever they may be.

Oops. Sorry Kevin. I know how to spell "United."
I really, really do!

Because of veterans like you, Bud, I have the time and the freedom to post about such things.
