Gmail invites

GmailSome of you might have heard that Google is offering 1GB of free webmail on a invitation only basis. I, as usual, had to reserve my standard "krjordan" address as quickly as possible -- if I had to remember another address or login I would faint. This way I only have to remember passwords. Anyway, I now have several invites to give out. Email me at... well, based on what I just wrote if you can't guess my address(es) maybe you don't deserve an invite; otherwise drop me a line.

I actually won't use the gmail account much so please email me at the 348north address if you actually want to converse. To me, gmail is more of a novelty thing; I get email accounts thrown in with the hosting of this website.

hey Kevin.............what the heck is gmail? Did they just jump right over fmail?

I've been trying to think of something witty to say about alphabet-mail, but nothing came to mind. To actually answer your question, gmail is like Hotmail, which many of us are more familiar with. The main benefit of gmail is the storage available (1GB) and the spam filtering that is reported to be great.
