Last night Hale got his first (but not last) bedtime story: A Snowman Named Just Bob

It wasn't the happy-movie-ending reading, unfortunately, as Hale cried through half of the story. All was not lost, however, because I think Jill enjoyed listening to the story, and I know I enjoyed reading it.

The irony was not lost on us either, sweating in the heat reading a story about a snowman. Is anyone else looking forward to Fall and Winter? I am!

Have you seen him?

As Jill posted previously, my oldest brother Joe and his wife Jeanette had their third child on Friday: Brayden. Joe, using his new digital camera, has already posted a couple of pictures on his website of everyone - new and old.

My mother planned her trip to PA (where J&J live) perfectly, and apparently is enjoying herself quite a bit. But hurry back mom, Hale misses you!

Here's hoping everyone reading has a wonderful weekend!

New pictures!

After a slight mishap with the photos (had a bad photo that messed things up) we have added 4 new albums to the site. These include the Old Settler's Days parade, which was a fun - albeit long - event for friends and family alike.

Among the photos you may also notice our friend Jessica and her son AJ (the boy in the blue hat). Well, on July 4th AJ got an Independance Day delight: three sisters! Congratulations to Jessica, Scott and AJ! As far as we know the triplet treats are doing terrific. There are fun times ahead for that crew.

Now, let me see - three girls born a month after our boy. For Hale's sake we'll keep track of them!
