As we continue our discussion of the 5 main purposes in a Purpose Driven Life, this week's focus is Fellowship. Read on for my notes. In bold are the discussion materials that the class has.

Just wanted to alert you daily readers that we have a new picture album available. Check out pictures of Jackson and Brooks back at Aunt Jill's house, as well as pics of our New Years get-ups. Enjoy!
I know I promised a review of the book, A Purpose Driven Life. Here it is: it is a great book for applying the Good News to your own life.
Over the next 4 weeks, and the last 2, I have been preparing discusisons of this book for our small group at church. Starting this week, we are looking at the 5 purposes for our lives, as broken down in the book. The first one is worship.
Click below to read my notes from this morning. The bold sections were on a sheet that I distributed to the group, and the rest is my discussion.
I think the stretch between New Year's and springtime is really a test of will. We get up to the darkness each morning, and eat dinner in the same. Work is... well, work.
So what can break up this monotony? Hale!!!
For the next month or two, Friday morning is swimming practice for Haley at the Huntington YMCA; Huntington is about 25 minutes away from where we live. This is the way to start your weekend, let me tell you! Other than the fact that I was the only dad there last week, it is a fun bunch of parents and kids singing silly songs and splashing about. Jill and I are both thankful we can go as a team.
One week we will remember our camera, so you can get the "real" feeling for what it is like through the pictures. Will the camera's pictures portray how cold the water was (last week)? Let us hope it doesn't have to!
While at Flip and Amy's home last evening we made a great discovery: Hale can now crawl! Before, the process was up on knees, rock back and forth, fall down on belly. Now it is up on knees, rock back and forth, and away we go!
Of course, we are very proud parents.
