Hale and Addi
Today the kids joined my mother and I on some errands that landed us at a John Deere dealer in Huntington. The nice thing about this dealer was that all the equipment on the lot was unlocked -- providing great fun for us!

I've added an album with pictures of the kids and the (green) tractors, combines, and mowers. Enjoy!

I've added some albums from this summer to the site. There are pictures of our trip to Florida with Dave and Kristen, pictures from our friend Grace's birthday party (with horses), our trip to see the pigs at Ron and Nancy's and more!

This summer has been such a pleasant one; I think we've all enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. As work starts to pick up for the fall season we'll enjoy looking back over these pictures and the fun times had.

WARNING: This entry contains non-technical information.

Addison Paige, at 22 months, is potty-trained! (After having drilled it into her mind several months ago that she MUST stay in her big girl bed and not get out, we now can't get her to get up when she has to potty at night, so she isn't completely nighttime potty-trained yet, but we're working on it!). She also has finally conquered those pesky incisor teeth - all four have successfully broken through, after MANY painful months of teething! Her speech has improved tremendously since potty-training began, and she is learning colors, letters and numbers all in one fell swoop! She LOVES her PaPo, french fries, Coke, and imitating every move her big brother makes. And if she tells you to "DIE," take no offense...what she is really saying is "BYE!"

Sir Hale has spent his summer learning new things as well. He can swim underwater by himself, ride his bike (with training wheels, of course), sing songs, hop on one foot (while playing "hotscotch"), and name every single train in the Thomas the Tank Engine collection! He can spell and recognize his name, and his memory is like a steel trap - NOTHING escapes him! He will thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart as you are departing the store, and generally puts a smile on your face every time he says, "I wuz you!" He loves to chase our dogs, go to the park (or any fastfood restaurant with a slide!), go fishing, open mail, eat at Pizza Hut, and get his hair cut at "Larry's."

It has been a really fun summer, and we're looking for all the fun things that the fall season has in store for us!
