We haven't been good about getting new pictures up, but we do have an update on Mr. Hale...

At his 15-month appointment this past Monday, Hale weighed in at 26 pounds,
1/4 ounce and was 32 1/2 inches tall. And with two brand new molars as of last night, he is looking and acting like a full-fledged toddler (that makes a total of 12 teeth)!

In addition to all the growing Hale has been doing this summer, he is also looking forward to the arrival of his new baby brother or sister. We're about 6 1/2 weeks away from Baby Day! Hale will be moving into his Big Boy Room in about a week and a half upon installation of new carpet. Can you picture him in a big boy bed? I'm having mixed emotions about it...what happened to my little baby boy??!!

montana.jpgChalk another one up to Kevin & Jill making the transistion from ultra-cool (as you all know we are) to ultra-practical. That's right...we traded in the wagon AND the Cougar for a sleek, sporty (as if) mini-van! It has all the creature comforts that we're used to, but comes with enough practicality to haul around a couple of carseats, a couple of furry beasts (dogs, not kids), some luggage and other travel necessities. And us, of course! Did you ever think you'd see the day? I know we didn't, but in our quest to conserve our coolness, we realized that we'll be cool no matter what...it's all about the attitude, after all.

Happy Zero-st Birthday!!

JarrettCongratulations to my brother Randy and his family on the birth of their latest and greatest: Jarrett Jesse Lee! He's what you get when you cross a race driver, an old bearded man and an orange car -- and that's just his name. (rim shot)

Again, congrats!

PS. Here is the link to the hospital webpage. I'm not sure how long it will be active.
